About the Role
Northern Star Resources is hiring Mine Surveyors for its Jundee, Thunderbox and Carosue Dam gold operations in Western Australia. These are permanent full-time positions on an 8/6 roster, flying in and out of Perth. You will support both underground and surface mining, from marking out drill and blast rings to end of month surveys.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark out drill and blast rings, mine heading development, exploration drilling and raise bore holes
- Provide survey control for mining activities across the operation
- Prepare survey plans and instructions, including development, dig permits and emergency response plans
- Complete end of month surveys of development, stockpiles and stopes, plus surface works when needed
About You
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in surveying
- One to two years of relevant experience, including time at an underground mine
- Working knowledge of Deswik CAD and MDM
- WA C class manual driver's licence
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and national police clearance, with Australian work rights
