About the Role

Liontown is hiring experienced Mechanical Fitters for the maintenance team at its Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia's northern Goldfields. These are permanent, site based roles on an 8/6 roster, flying in and out from Perth and staying at the company's Dragonfly Village, a few minutes from site. You will report to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor and keep the processing plant and site infrastructure running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain fixed plant and site infrastructure
  • Diagnose and fault find on processing plant and infrastructure equipment
  • Help plan and schedule work so tools, spares and equipment are ready when needed
  • Keep a high standard of housekeeping, workshop organisation and waste reduction
  • Carry out maintenance to a high standard and support a strong safety culture
  • Help develop and improve the maintenance crews

About You

  • Mechanical trade certificate
  • At least 5 years of fixed plant maintenance experience, for example crushers, mills, apron feeders, conveyors, screens, flotation and filtration, pumps, agitators and magnetic separation
  • Able to read and interpret drawings, schematics and manuals
  • Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety
  • A National Police Clearance from the last 6 months, or the ability to get one
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
