About the Role

Whitehaven Coal is hiring a Materials Coordinator at Daunia, a metallurgical coal mine southeast of Moranbah in Queensland's Bowen Basin. The job is about getting the right parts and consumables to site when maintenance and operations need them.

Key Responsibilities

• Chase and expedite critical materials for short-term maintenance and operational needs
• Arrange urgent freight, including air freight and hotshot deliveries, with an eye on cost
• Analyse stock usage to cut excess and obsolete inventory
• Report on warehouse, inventory and service KPIs
• Track warehouse returns and keep inventory records accurate

About You

• Inventory analytics experience and a continuous improvement mindset
• Supply chain background, including KPI and MIFOT reporting
• Advanced Excel and solid ERP experience, SAP preferred
• Experience with repairable and rotable components in mining or heavy industry
• Good vendor and stakeholder management
