About the Role
MACA is hiring a Maintenance Scheduler for the Karlawinda Gold Project in the Pilbara, about 65 km south-east of Newman in Western Australia. This is a permanent, full-time role on an 8/6 roster, flying in and out from Perth. You will plan and schedule maintenance for the site's fixed and mobile plant, helping the maintenance team lift equipment reliability and make the most of every downtime window.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update the Plant Management Plan on a regular basis
- Raise, manage and control all work order requests
- Build short and long term maintenance programs with the Maintenance Planner
- Develop maintenance plans and schedules, including cost and time estimates
- Identify equipment that is not meeting reliability targets and find improvements
- Carry out maintenance risk analysis for plant and equipment on site
- Keep job records and equipment maintenance history accurate
- Report KPIs on reliability, maintenance performance and the planning and scheduling process
- Work with supervisors and managers to schedule people and resources and set work order priorities
About You
- 5 or more years of experience in a mining production or maintenance environment
- Good knowledge of open cut mining equipment and processes
- Experience planning and scheduling maintenance for mobile and fixed plant
- A heavy plant or mechanical trade certificate is desirable
- Strong computer skills and clear communication
