About the Role

Civeo is looking for motivated Line Chefs to join the kitchen team at one of its remote villages in the Northern Territory, listed near Tennant Creek. You will help the kitchen team prepare and cook the daily meals and any functions held at the village during your swing. The position is FIFO, flying from Perth, on a 14/14 roster of two weeks on and two weeks off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals for village residents across the day
  • Help with catering for functions held at the village
  • Produce food in bulk and batch quantities for large groups
  • Keep quality and presentation consistent on every service
  • Follow HACCP and food safety practices
  • Work alongside a diverse team of chefs and kitchenhands

About You

  • An Australian recognised Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or an equivalent trade certificate (NVQ Level 4 and City and Guilds accepted, with various international qualifications also accepted)
  • At least 3 years of post-trade or commercial cooking experience
  • Experience in bulk and batch cookery for large groups
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles
  • Calm under pressure, with attention to detail and presentation
  • A current WA or NT C class driver's licence
