About the Role

Sodexo is hiring an Assistant Service Delivery Manager for its remote site operation at Tantangara in New South Wales. Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, you will help oversee every village service on site, including catering, accommodation, housekeeping and the support functions around them. The role is FIFO on a 2/1 roster, with shifts of up to 11 hours, and is about running a safe, efficient and compliant operation while keeping the team and the client on side.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large teams across catering and village services
  • Make sure catering and hospitality services are delivered to a high standard
  • Drive performance through workforce planning, rostering and resource management
  • Keep the operation compliant with food safety, HACCP, health and safety, and contract requirements
  • Build strong relationships with the client, stakeholders and site leadership
  • Track performance through reporting and analysis, and lead continuous improvement
  • Coach and develop team members and keep the workplace safe, inclusive and engaged

About You

  • Experience managing large catering and village services teams
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP
  • Proven leadership in remote sites, camps, hospitality, catering, accommodation or village settings
  • Excellent people leadership, stakeholder and client relationship skills
  • Physically fit, able to work shifts of up to 11 hours and cope with remote conditions and extreme weather
  • A National Police Check dated within the last 6 months, or willingness to obtain one
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
