About the Role

Aeris Resources is hiring Heavy Diesel Fitters at Tritton Operations, a long life copper mine near Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. The permanent, full time role runs on a 7/7 rotating continuous roster of 12 hour shifts, with residential and DIDO options. Applications close on 20 November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Repair and maintain an extensive fleet of trucks, loaders, drills and underground equipment across the mine site
• Find and fix faults to a high standard of work quality

About You

• HV fitter trade qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in underground mining on heavy machinery or a similar field
• Air conditioning accreditation and experience are highly regarded
• Well developed fault finding skills and good time management
• Self motivated and team oriented, with strong written and verbal communication
• Australian working rights, as a permanent resident or citizen
• You may need to complete a pre-employment medical and police check
