CSI Mining Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mineral Resources, wants experienced Control Room Operators with crushing and wet plant experience for its Lithium Operations. The job is listed at Kambalda. These are full time, permanent FIFO roles from Perth on a 14/14 roster of 7 days and 7 nights, with on-site training and pathways into leadership for the right people.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor crushing, screening and wet and dry processing plant parameters
- Track and control feed rates, water flow and equipment variables to meet production targets
- Watch plant equipment indicators to pick up developing trends
- Operate crushing and screening equipment in wet and dry plant environments
- Do basic preventative maintenance checks and assist trades where required
- Follow safety, environmental and operational procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
About You
- Control room experience operating fixed plant crushing and wet plant equipment, or mobile plant
- Detailed knowledge of process control fundamentals
- Experience in mineral processing, including grinding, magnetic separation, thickening, filtration and tailings management
- C class manual driver's licence, with HR desirable
- Construction Induction Card
- High risk work licences (DG, RB, CN, WP, LF) and working at heights, confined space and gas testing tickets are desirable
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
