Health and Safety Advisor (18 Month Contract) | Kathleen Valley Expansion | 2/1 FIFO

About the Role

Liontown needs a Health and Safety Advisor for the expansion construction project at its Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia. The role is an 18-month maximum term contract on a 2:1 roster, flying in and out on Friday mornings. Reporting to the Project WHS Superintendent, you will give hands-on safety support across the active construction work fronts while early works run, a new ball mill is on order and underground development of the Northwest Flats orebody progresses.

Key Responsibilities

• Give day-to-day WHS advice across construction work fronts, including high-risk activities
• Run workplace inspections, observations and compliance audits against the Project WHS Management Plan and contractor SWMS
• Support incident investigations using the ICAM method
• Review contractor Safe Work Method Statements and Job Hazard Analyses and give feedback
• Keep WHS records, registers and reports up to date in Liontown's systems
• Build a positive safety culture through visible leadership and coaching in the field

About You

• Eight years of WHS experience in mining construction
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419 or equivalent) at minimum
• Qualified and experienced ICAM Lead Investigator
• Confident with digital WHS management systems
• Current White Card and Provide First Aid certificate
• Current WA C Class driver's licence
• Able to get a National Police Clearance within three months and pass a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening
