FMS Technician | Telfer | 2/2 FIFO

About the Role

Macmahon is looking for an FMS Technician to look after the fleet management system on its mining equipment at the Telfer project in the East Pilbara of Western Australia. The role works a 2/2 roster (two weeks on, two weeks off), flying in and out from Perth. You will install, service, repair and replace the electronic systems fitted to the fleet, working closely with production and planning so the equipment stays connected and running.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission fleet management system (FMS) equipment on mining machinery
• Maintain and repair FMS hardware and systems
• Troubleshoot integration with third party systems that use the Modular Mining communications network
• Plan and schedule work with the production and planning teams
• Speak up on safety and help make sure everyone gets home safe every swing

About You

• An Australian recognised mobile plant trade certificate
• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Modular Mining equipment and systems
• Skills with communications and network infrastructure software
• A commitment to safe work practices and quality work
• The ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
