Field Service HD Fitter (Raisebore Rhinos) | WA Underground Mines | 14/14, 8/6 or 14/7 FIFO

About the Role

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is looking for a Heavy Duty Fitter to join its Rhino field service team in Western Australia. You will travel to underground mine sites to maintain Barminco's fleet of Sandvik Rhino raiseborers. The role is day shift only, with a choice of 14/14, 8/6 or 14/7 rosters, and flights are provided from any major Australian city.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on Sandvik Rhino raiseborers
• Find faults and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Do inspections, services and component change-outs to manufacturer and site standards
• Complete pre-start checks so equipment is safe and compliant before use
• Record maintenance work accurately and report defects and hazards
• Work with operators and supervisors to keep machine downtime low

About You

• A trade qualification as a diesel fitter or equivalent
• Previous experience as a HD fitter on raiseborers or Rhinos
• A valid manual driver's licence
• Able to meet site access requirements, including a medical, drug and alcohol screen and national police clearance
• Proof of the right to work in Australia
