About the Role

Civeo Australia is hiring a permanent, full-time Electrician for the Asset and Facilities Maintenance team at a remote workforce accommodation village in South Australia. The roster is 8 days on, 6 off, FIFO from Adelaide or Port Augusta. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will look after reactive, planned and preventative electrical maintenance across accommodation units, camp facilities and village infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform reactive, planned and preventative electrical maintenance across the village
  • Fault find and repair switchboards, lighting, accommodation units and camp infrastructure
  • Inspect and test to Australian Standards and site requirements
  • Complete work orders and keep accurate maintenance records
  • Liaise with contractors and site stakeholders and help with general village maintenance when needed
  • Meet statutory, safety and environmental requirements and contribute to a safety-first culture

About You

  • Current SA Electrical Workers Registration or A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Australian trade qualification as an Electrician
  • Current manual driver's licence
  • Mining village, camp maintenance or remote site experience highly regarded
  • Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets, and First Aid and CPR, are desirable
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening, obtain a National Police Clearance, and hold full Australian working rights
