Construction Superintendent - SMP (18 Month Contract) | Kathleen Valley Expansion | 2/1 FIFO

About the Role

Liontown is recruiting a Construction Superintendent (structural, mechanical and piping) for the Kathleen Valley Expansion at its lithium operation in Western Australia's northern Goldfields. Reporting to the Construction Manager or Project Manager, you will coordinate all construction activity on the project site as the expansion moves through underground development, surface infrastructure and process plant upgrades. This is an 18 month maximum term contract, FIFO from Perth, ideally on a 2/1 roster, with 8/6 or 2/2 open to discussion.

Key Responsibilities

• Help make sure HSE advisors, site coordinators and subcontractors meet Liontown's safety procedures, including hazard analyses, risk assessments, inspections and audits
• Coordinate construction contractor supervisors to keep work safe and on schedule, and head off critical path delays
• Brief contractors on site conditions, the authority to mobilise process, laydown areas and security
• Enforce the Quality Management Plan and manage the flow of drawings and specifications to site
• Run site walkdowns and construction meetings
• Monitor the construction schedule and contractor resourcing, and feed into daily, weekly and monthly reports

About You

• Supervisor or superintendent experience with a tier one or tier two main contractor on client-side projects
• Multi-discipline project experience, ideally in mining process plant upgrades or expansions
• An engineering or trade qualification in SMP or electrical and instrumentation
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and HSE management systems
• Manual Australian driver's licence, White Card, and able to meet WA mine site induction, ticketing and medical requirements
