About the Role
Covalent Lithium is adding a second Condition Monitoring Technician at its Mt Holland lithium mine and concentrator in Western Australia. The position is permanent and full time, based at Mt Holland and flying in and out of Perth on an 8/6 roster. You will run the predictive maintenance program for the site's fixed plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out scheduled and unplanned condition monitoring work safely and to procedure
- Run the vibration, lubrication and thermography programs, from data collection on site through analysis to recommendations for rotating equipment
- Build the condition monitoring program alongside proactive maintenance plans and safe work instructions
- Work with OEMs during fixed plant installation and coordinate specialist monitoring contractors
- Set up the condition monitoring database, reporting and KPI tracking
- Support planned and breakdown maintenance and suggest ways to improve reliability
About You
- Certificate III in Condition Monitoring and a relevant trade qualification
- 5 years of fixed plant maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, ball mills, crushers, screens, pumps, DMS and flotation
- Vibration analysis experience with the associated software, with Level 2 or above preferred
- Lubrication Level 2 and Thermography Level 1 as a minimum
- Experience in oil and wear debris analysis, with root cause failure analysis highly regarded
