Heidelberg Materials is hiring FIFO Concrete Testers for its Western Region Mobiles Team, with this listing based at Greenbushes in Western Australia. The role starts as a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to be extended and to move on to other projects. Swings are 2:1 or 3:1 depending on the project, and FIFO locations are out of Perth or Brisbane. You will report to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out concrete field testing
- Calibrate testing equipment
- Sample, test and keep records in line with quality assurance standards
- Batch concrete into agitators on occasion
- Help with yard duties when required
- Occasionally drive agitators to deliver concrete, which needs an HR licence
About You
- Testing experience, or a willingness to learn
- Previous CMT experience is an advantage but not essential
- An HR licence is highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal literacy and numeracy
- Physically fit, with a strong work ethic and sound health and safety behaviours
- Self-motivated, risk aware, and good with customers and workmates
