About the Role
MACA Mining is seeking a Serviceperson for its maintenance team at Sanjiv Ridge, an iron ore mine owned by Hancock Iron Ore in the Pilbara, about 240 kilometres from Port Hedland. The role is on a FIFO 2:1 roster, with full-time and casual rates available.
Key Responsibilities
- Service heavy mobile mining equipment across the site fleet
- Operate equipment for maintenance and inspection purposes
- Monitor plant and equipment condition, and identify and report oil and fuel leaks
- Keep oil, grease and fuel stocked
- Follow Work Health and Safety procedures and policies
The fleet includes CAT 785C and 785D dump trucks, Komatsu 1250 and Liebherr R9150 excavators, a CAT 777D water cart, a CAT 16M grader, a CAT D10T dozer and Epiroc T45 drill rigs.
About You
- An MR or HR driver's licence
- Experience in a similar role in a mining environment
- Experience servicing heavy mobile mining equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Good knowledge of safety procedures and policies
