About the Role

Liontown is recruiting a Supervisor - Project NPI (Borefields) for the Kathleen Valley Expansion, at its lithium operation in the northern Goldfields of Western Australia. As new water supply infrastructure comes online in stages, you will own the raw water network, from borefields and pipelines through to commissioning of new assets. This is an 18 month maximum term contract on an 8/6 roster, flying in and out from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise contractors for clearing and earthworks, drilling, aquifer testing, pipeline construction and borefield installation
  • Optimise borefield systems for flow and groundwater levels
  • Read and interpret design drawings for water infrastructure
  • Keep records, reports and compliance documents in line with regulatory and site requirements
  • Make sure works meet environmental, health and water quality standards
  • Work with site teams on efficient water use and sustainability

About You

  • Experience in water supply operations, ideally in mining or industry
  • Strong knowledge of bore installation, borefield equipment and bore optimisation
  • A good understanding of water distribution and telemetry systems
  • Supervisory experience managing contractors and maintenance teams, with Section 26 statutory supervisor qualification
  • A trade or certification in water operations, electrical or plumbing is highly regarded, as are HR, CV, CN and DG tickets
  • A National Police Clearance from the last 6 months, or the ability to get one, and able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
