Boilermaker | Sanjiv Ridge, Pilbara | 2/1 FIFO
MACAAbout the Role
MACA is hiring Boilermakers for its mining contract at Sanjiv Ridge, an iron ore mine in the Pilbara about 240 km from Port Hedland. The roster is a 2/1 FIFO swing of seven days, seven nights and seven off. Full-time and casual rates are available, so the role suits tradespeople who want a permanent position as well as those who prefer casual flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and fabrication work on the site's mining fleet
- Repair buckets, trays and chassis on haul trucks, excavators and ancillary equipment
- Work to MACA's health and safety procedures and keep the workshop tidy and organised
- Communicate clearly with fitters, supervisors and operators to keep gear in service
About You
- Australian recognised trade qualification as a boilermaker or welder
- Experience repairing buckets, trays and chassis and fabricating components for mining equipment
- HR driver's licence is preferred
- High Risk Work Licence for EWP and dogging is desirable
- Self-motivated, a good communicator and committed to safe work practices
