About the Role
Komatsu Australia is hiring trades people to support its Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) on Pilbara mine sites. The role is FIFO to the Pilbara from Perth on an 8/6/7/7 days and nights roster, and you need to live in Perth or be willing to move there. You will be trained in mobile equipment automation and backed by Komatsu's 24/7 support centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain autonomous haul trucks and their systems on site
- Fault find on electrical, mechanical and automation equipment
- Work closely with the mine customer and give a high standard of service
- Follow Komatsu safety and environmental standards at all times
- Build your skills in autonomous truck technology with support from Komatsu engineers
About You
- A trade such as Cert III Automotive Electrical, Mobile Plant Technology, HV Electrician or HD Fitter, or a Certificate IV in Aeroskills Engineering
- Mining, aviation or defence trade backgrounds are all welcome
- Experience servicing and maintaining equipment in a similar environment
- Good relationship and customer service skills
- Living in Perth or willing to relocate
