Ancillary Operator | Pilgangoora, Pilbara | 8/6 and 7/7 FIFO/DIDO

About the Role

PLS (Pilbara Minerals) is hiring a permanent full-time Ancillary Operator for its Pilgangoora lithium operation in the Pilbara. The site runs an 8/6 day roster and 7/7 night roster, with FIFO from Perth or DIDO from within the Pilbara region. You will report to the Mining Supervisor and spend most of your shift on track dozers. Applications close 30 October 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Run CAT D10 track dozers in a hard rock open pit production setting
• Keep pit floors and tip heads in good working condition
• Carry out pre-start safety checks on mobile mining equipment
• Operate wheel loaders, graders and haul trucks when the crew needs it
• Report hazards and help keep the crew working safely
• Give guidance and direction to fellow operators

About You

• Hard rock production experience on CAT D10 or D11 track dozers
• Experience on wheel loaders (CAT 980 to 993), graders (CAT 16M to 24M) and haul trucks (CAT 785 to 793)
• Production excavator experience, or a wish to learn it, is highly regarded
• Able to work 12.5 hour shifts, including nights
• Current WA C class manual driver licence, with HR preferred
• Able to pass police checks, a medical, drug and alcohol testing and right to work checks
