ESS, the remote services brand of Compass Group Australia, is looking for experienced Utility All Rounders to work on board a transhipper vessel off the Western Australian coast. The roster is 14 days on, 7 days off, flying in and out of Perth, and the position is permanent full-time. You will look after the living quarters for the vessel crew, covering housekeeping, laundry, kitchen support and dining service. No closing date is listed.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing crew cabins, changing linen and keeping accommodation areas to standard
- Running the on-board laundry
- Helping with food preparation, dishwashing and meal service
- Replenishing stock, managing waste and recycling
- Cleaning communal areas throughout the vessel
- Taking part in vessel safety procedures and emergency drills
- Following food safety, hygiene and offshore safety requirements at all times
About You
- Current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card), which is mandatory
- Able to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Current Australian working rights
- Previous FIFO, offshore, hospitality, housekeeping or utility experience is highly regarded
- Strong work ethic and good communication in a close-knit team
- Comfortable living and working in a remote marine environment
