About the Role

Evolution Mining is looking for an experienced underground operator to join the paste crew at its Mungari Operations near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Paste fill backs up ground stability underground, so this crew keeps both people and production safe. The role runs on a 7/7 roster with 12-hour shifts, and you can choose to fly in from Perth or live locally in Kalgoorlie. You will report to the Paste Supervisor. No closing date is listed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain the underground paste fill infrastructure and reticulation
• Carry out pre-paste and post-paste inspections to confirm the system is sound
• Manage consumables and look for ways to cut downtime
• Troubleshoot problems, report defects and help with proactive maintenance
• Identify hazards, step in when needed and lead by example on safety every shift

About You

• Experience as an underground operator, ideally with paste fill systems
• Comfortable working on your own and taking ownership of the job
• A strong commitment to safe work underground
• Able to meet standard WA mine site medical and induction requirements
