Underground Auto Electrician | Mungari near Kalgoorlie | 7/7 FIFO

About the Role

Evolution Mining is looking for an experienced Underground Auto Electrician to join the maintenance team at Mungari Operations near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The role runs on a 7:7 roster, and you can either live locally in Kalgoorlie or fly in and fly out from Perth. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and keep a modern underground mobile fleet running safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on underground mobile equipment
• Diagnose and fix electrical faults across a varied underground fleet
• Respond to breakdowns safely and quickly to keep equipment available
• Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Identify defects and suggest reliability improvements
• Work closely with supervisors, operators and other trades to meet targets

About You

• A qualified auto electrician with underground mining equipment experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable working in a team and with breakdown pressure
• A strong commitment to safe work practices
