Underground Auto Electrician | Agnew near Leinster | 8/6 and 7/7 FIFO

About the Role

Gold Fields is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join the underground mobile maintenance team at Agnew Gold Mine near Leinster in WA's northern Goldfields. The role is permanent and works an 8 days on, 6 days off day roster and a 7 nights on, 7 off night roster. FIFO employees fly from Perth and stay in the site camp.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled inspections, servicing, fault finding and repairs on underground mobile fleet, ancillary equipment and light vehicles
• Keep downtime low with accurate diagnosis and practical maintenance knowledge
• Help train and mentor apprentices and trainees and supervise contractors
• Raise work orders and backlogs for defects and requisition parts and materials
• Follow and improve maintenance procedures so the mining plan is delivered on time

About You

• Australian recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification (essential)
• Automotive air conditioning licence (essential)
• Underground mobile maintenance experience and knowledge of mining technology and RCT or similar
• Experience on Epiroc M7C and E70S drills, MT65 trucks, CAT R2900 loaders or Sandvik DD421 and DD422 development drills
• High Risk Work Licence with forklift, basic rigging and dogging; EWP desirable
• Valid manual driver's licence, with SAP experience a plus
