About the Role
CITIC Pacific Mining is hiring a Superintendent for Security and Emergency Services in its site based health and safety team at Sino Iron, near Cape Preston in the Pilbara. The role is permanent and full time on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth. Applications close on 30 October 2026, and shortlisting has already started.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead emergency management and response on site
- Build emergency response capability and training
- Run security operations and systems
- Manage contracted service providers and their delivery
- Handle risk, compliance and investigations and work with outside agencies
- Manage assets, budget and resources and drive improvement
About You
- Significant experience in security, emergency services, fire or paramedical work in mining, resources or heavy industry
- Experience managing contracted service providers, incident response, investigations and audits
- Certificate IV in Security Risk Management or equivalent
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue or equivalent
- MSIC or able to obtain one, Senior First Aid or higher, and a current HR manual licence
- SAP experience is desirable. Agency candidates are not considered
