Mineral Resources, through its CSI Mining Services business, is hiring experienced tyre fitters for its heavy haulage maintenance teams across mine site operations, with this role listed at Newman. These are permanent full-time positions on a 2/1 roster that rotates between day and night shift, with flights available from Perth. You work in a small crew looking after a fleet of Kenworth C509 road trains with triple side-tipper trailers, along with auxiliary equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and diagnose tyre damage and wear across the road train fleet
- Remove and replace wheels
- Carry out emergency tyre-related repairs on road trains and auxiliary equipment
- Support the wider haulage operation as part of the maintenance team
About You
- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Fitting
- Unrestricted Australian driver's licence, with HR preferred
- Demonstrated experience with heavy vehicles or heavy mobile plant
- Strong commitment to safety and quality of work
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Unlimited Australian work rights
