About the Role

BHP is recruiting a Supervisor Processing for its Prominent Hill copper-gold operation in South Australia. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will lead a processing crew on an 8/6 and 7/7 day and night roster, fly-in fly-out from Adelaide or Port Augusta. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a culture of care as a visible safety leader who engages, develops and coaches the crew
• Build team capability through consistent coaching and skills development
• Work with Maintenance on planned maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
• Identify and assess risks using BHP frameworks and plan and execute isolations to standard
• Drive improvement using BHP Operating System tools within the crew
• Help plan and prioritise shutdowns and manage daily resources
• Run effective shift handovers and capture events and issues in SAP and EMS notifications

About You

• Experience as a production leader in a processing or production environment
• Experience in the milling and flotation side of mineral processing is essential
• A leader who sets the example, holds people accountable and coaches for safety
• Strong personal safety focus with a sharp eye for hazards
• Able to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders across the site
