Serviceperson | Karlawinda near Newman | 2/2 FIFO

About the Role

Capricorn Metals is looking for an experienced Serviceperson for the Karlawinda Gold Project in the Pilbara, south-east of Newman in Western Australia. This is a permanent, full-time position on a 2:2 roster (two weeks on, two weeks off), flying FIFO from Perth directly to site. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Superintendent and keep the site's mobile plant serviced and available.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing on mobile plant and equipment
• Refuel large mining equipment each day and complete lubricant, oil and filter checks
• Monitor plant condition and report oil and fuel leaks
• Keep the service truck stocked with the right levels of oil, grease and fuel
• Assist with maintenance and repairs on fixed and mobile plant
• Keep a clean, safe work area and support the maintenance team

About You

• A current HR driver's licence, which is mandatory
• Previous experience as a serviceperson in a mining environment
• RIISAM212D Service Mine Plant and Equipment is highly regarded
• Good fault-finding skills and the ability to work on your own
• Clear communication and a strong safety focus
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and right-to-work checks
