Safety and Training Coordinator | Telfer | 8/6 FIFO

Greatland is hiring a Safety and Training Coordinator at its Telfer gold-copper operation in Western Australia's East Pilbara. The role is 8/6 FIFO from Perth and reports to the Superintendent, Health and Safety. You will advise site leaders and employees, oversee safety and training initiatives, support incident management and coordinate training programs across the site. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate site safety improvement initiatives and health and safety management systems
- Give workplace health and safety advice to leaders, employees and contractors
- Facilitate safety audits, inspections, hazard management and compliance reviews
- Lead and support incident investigations, including ICAM-based investigations and corrective actions
- Develop and maintain health and safety procedures
- Compile and analyse injury, incident and safety data for management reports
- Oversee the daily work and development of site Safety Advisers and Trainers
- Develop and coordinate site-wide training and competency programs, inductions and training records
About You
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Lead Auditor qualification
- Sound understanding of risk management and incident investigation, preferably ICAM
- Current WA C Class driver's licence
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice
- Experience in a similar safety or training role in mining, resources or heavy industry
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
- Experience with EVOTIX360 or similar systems, SAP, SafeDay and ChemAlert is desirable
- Must complete a full medical, show Australian work rights and be able to apply for a National Police Clearance
