Major Works Coordinator | Telfer | 8/6 FIFO

About the Role
Greatland is hiring a Major Works Coordinator at its Telfer gold-copper operation in Western Australia's East Pilbara. The role is 8/6 FIFO from Perth. You will lead frontline delivery of brownfield projects and major maintenance, linking operations, engineering, planning and contractors so work finishes safely, on schedule, on budget and to standard. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Project Supervisors and Major Maintenance Supervisors
- Coordinate supervision coverage and shift rosters across projects and shutdowns
- Manage contractor mobilisation, including site access, inductions, accommodation, travel and compliance
- Review contractor methods so delivery is safe, practical and efficient
- Coordinate plant interfaces, isolations, permits and operational handovers
- Manage simultaneous operations risks and resolve conflicts across work fronts
- Track progress against critical path schedules and report to stakeholders
- Verify field quality against engineering specifications and Australian Standards

About You
- At least 5 years in a supervisory, coordinator or leadership role in mining, maintenance, shutdowns or major projects
- A mechanical, electrical, structural or related trade, or significant experience coordinating large industrial works
- Strong knowledge of fixed plant, brownfield execution and shutdown work
- Practical understanding of craneage, heavy lifts and critical risk management
- Sound knowledge of WA mining safety legislation and contractor management
- Microsoft Office and SAP skills, and a current C Class licence
- Able to meet site medical, fitness-for-work and drug and alcohol requirements for FIFO
- Statutory Supervisor qualifications and client-side mining experience are highly regarded
