Sodexo is hiring a Refrigeration Mechanic for its facility maintenance team on remote Queensland mining villages. The position is full time and flies in and out of Brisbane on a 2:2 roster, which Sodexo describes as two weeks on site and two weeks at home, with 11 hour days. You will keep the village's refrigeration and building services running for the people who live there. Sodexo asks that applicants live near Brisbane or be willing to move at their own cost. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair refrigeration and cooling equipment across the village
- Respond to breakdowns and answer maintenance questions from the site team
- Carry out facility maintenance work across domestic and commercial style buildings
- Keep safety and service standards front of mind on every job
- Pitch in on a range of duties and sites across Queensland as needed
About You
- A relevant trade qualification and certificates
- QBCC licence, or the ability to get one
- CPR and LVR certificates
- Restricted electrical licence
- Three to five years of experience after your apprenticeship in a similar maintenance role
- Australian citizenship or full working rights, and willing to complete a pre-employment medical and background checks
