Process Plant Operations Coordinator (18 Month Contract) | Kathleen Valley Expansion | 8/6, 2/1 or 2/2 FIFO

About the Role

Liontown is expanding its Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia's northern Goldfields, with a new ball mill on order and underground development of a new orebody under way. This Coordinator is the site-based link between the expansion project team and the operations team while the process plant expansion is designed, built and commissioned. It is an 18 month maximum term contract, FIFO from Perth, with a choice of 8/6, 2/1 or 2/2 roster. Applications are reviewed as they arrive, and no closing date is listed.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and progress permits well ahead of need so construction and commissioning are not held up
• Bring operations input into design reviews for the process plant expansion
• Coordinate handover and tie-in work between project construction and operations
• Build working relationships across project, contractor and operations teams
• Take part in the project safety program, including risk assessments and pre-start hazard analysis
• Attend interface and progress meetings and contribute to daily, weekly and monthly reports

About You

• Brownfields mining project experience across design, construction and commissioning
• A background as an Engineer, or as a Supervisor with a trade such as fitter
• Experience coordinating permits, approvals or similar forward planning on a live site
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and HSE management systems
• Current Australian manual driver's licence and a White Card
• Able to meet WA mine site induction, ticketing and medical requirements
