About the Role
Macmahon's Surface Mining Australia business is hiring a Maintenance Plumber for the Nifty Copper Project in WA's Pilbara region. The role works an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. You will look after the water supply, wastewater and gas fitting for the camp and the mine site's non-processing infrastructure, keeping everything compliant with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain water supply, wastewater and gas systems across the camp and mine site infrastructure
- Keep plant available and support production targets
- Plan and carry out day-to-day maintenance and project work on site
- Coordinate contractors, vendors and internal teams
- Complete field risk assessments and support hazard controls
- Track quality, timelines and contractor performance, and help source materials and equipment
About You
- Plumbing trade certificate
- At least two years of maintenance experience in mining
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Able to juggle priorities under pressure in a production setting
- SAP maintenance system experience is highly regarded
- Good computer, literacy and numeracy skills
