About the Role
B2Gold Nunavut is hiring a Geo Labourer for the Back River Project in Nunavut, Canada. The position is fly-in fly-out on a 3x3 rotation and reports to the Deputy Manager, Technical Services. You will handle the samples and drill core that the geology team relies on. The posting closes on 29 October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label and move geological samples, including chip samples, with geologists and operating crews
- Prepare, photograph, organise and store drill core and samples with traceable storage locations
- Prepare assay shipments and keep chain-of-custody records
- Track standards, blanks and duplicates in the QA/QC program and report problems
- Enter and check field, sampling and production data
- Keep core and sample areas safe and handle loads up to 23 kg in Arctic conditions
About You
- At least one year of experience in mining, construction, industrial or remote work
- Sample or inventory handling experience is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's licence
- Comfortable with data entry and Microsoft Office
- Working rights in Canada
