Civeo is hiring casual Line Chefs to rotate across its remote accommodation villages in Western Australia, flying in and out of Perth. The standard roster is 14 days on and 7 off, with other swing patterns available depending on what each village needs. The pay is $47.95 per hour plus 12% superannuation. You will cook and serve breakfast through to dinner for village guests, holding the kitchen to Civeo's food safety and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, produce and serve meals across all services for guests and staff
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe and compliant from prep through to service
- Deliver consistent quality in high-volume bulk and batch cookery
- Work as part of a team of chefs and kitchen hands, moving between villages as rostered
About You
- Australian recognised Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or a trade certificate
- FIFO experience is essential, with proven high-volume bulk cookery from FIFO, cruise ship or defence catering
- Working knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP principles
- Comfortable under pressure and with long hours in remote conditions
- WA driver's licence (auto or manual) and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Valid Australian working rights for the next 12 months; sponsorship is not available
