About the Role
Macmahon is hiring a Light Vehicle Fitter for one of its underground mining projects in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. The role is FIFO from Perth, on either a 7/7 roster of alternating days and nights or a 14/14 roster of days and nights. You will keep the site light vehicle and bus fleet running alongside an experienced maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and service light vehicles and buses
- Carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
- Fault find on mechanical systems
- Record maintenance data every day
- Plan work with the production and planning teams
- Help keep equipment available, safe and reliable
About You
- More than two years experience as a tradesperson, ideally in underground mining
- Australian recognised trade certificate (Cert III in Light Vehicle)
- Breakdown and servicing experience on light vehicles
- Current First Aid certificate with CPR
- Current unrestricted C class manual driver licence
