About the Role
Evolution Mining is hiring a permanent HV Electrician for its Mungari gold operation west of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The role works a 7/7 roster of 12-hour day and night shifts and is open to people who want to FIFO from Perth or live locally. You will maintain and install electrical systems both underground and on surface.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out scheduled and breakdown electrical maintenance across site systems and machines
- Electrical installation work underground and on surface infrastructure
- Working on power systems from 24V up to 11kV, plus communications, instrumentation and remote-control gear
- Using personal risk assessment tools such as Take 5 on every job
About You
- A current WA electrician's licence, or the ability to obtain one
- Underground experience, or willingness to move your skills underground
- Experience in a fast-paced industrial or mining setting is preferred
- High voltage switching competency is highly regarded
- A strong commitment to safety
