About the Role

Civeo is looking for an HSQE Advisor to support its accommodation villages across Queensland's Bowen Basin. The role is based in the Bowen Basin on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, with regular travel between Civeo's Queensland villages. It suits people living in the Mackay or Fitzroy regions who can drive in and drive out, or candidates who want to fly in and fly out from Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain HSQE systems and processes on site at remote accommodation villages
  • Work alongside village managers and supervisors to run safe operations under Civeo's Integrated Management System
  • Develop, roll out and monitor safety procedures and work instructions
  • Help coordinate and deliver inductions and HSQE training for staff
  • Support operations with contractor management for high risk work
  • Identify hazards and keep risk assessments current
  • Facilitate incident investigations and maintain records and statistics
  • Run site inspections and audits against HSQE policy, legal and client requirements, and drive injury prevention campaigns

About You

  • Certificate IV or equivalent in Workplace Health and Safety
  • Accurate data entry, analysis and reporting
  • Experience with incident investigations and risk management
  • Able to build positive working relationships, with high standards of confidentiality and integrity
  • Current driver's licence
  • Desirable: Internal Auditor, Cert IV Training and Assessment, ICAM Lead Investigator, workforce accommodation experience, and knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001
