CITIC Pacific Mining is hiring an Automotive and Heavy Mobile Equipment Refrigeration Technician for its Sino Iron operation at Cape Preston, about 100 km southwest of Karratha. The role is permanent on a 2/1 continuous roster of days and nights, FIFO from Perth. You will join the HME department, which maintains the load and haul, drilling and ancillary fleet. Applications close 8 November 2026, and shortlisting has started.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintain air conditioning and cab air filtration on heavy mobile equipment
- Diagnose faults using testing equipment and diagnostic software
- Carry out inspections and adjustments in the field and in the workshop
- Work with the HME team to keep the fleet running safely
About You
- Auto electrical trade certificate
- ARCtick licence for automotive air conditioning
- Air conditioning diagnosis and repair experience
- Current WA manual driver licence
- Good computer skills for technical and diagnostic software
- Heavy mobile equipment experience is preferred
