Kinetic Logging Services, an Epiroc company, is hiring a Field Tech Support technician to support remote mining operations across the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The role is on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. You will maintain, repair and improve specialised mineral logging and survey equipment at client mine sites, and help develop junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and automation systems on field vehicles and logging equipment
- Read technical drawings, schematics and system specifications
- Install, test and commission equipment upgrades
- Provide on-site support at client mines, including breakdown response
- Train and mentor junior technicians and field operators
- Keep maintenance records in MEX and manage spare parts
About You
- Certificate III or higher in Electronics, Electrical or a related trade
- Unrestricted manual C class driver's licence
- Proven troubleshooting experience and strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with electrical and electronic control systems
- Exposure to PLCs, instrumentation, automation or CAN systems is desirable
- Physically fit and able to pass a functional capability assessment
