About the Role
Macmahon's Surface Mining Australia business is looking for experienced Dump Truck Operators to join its production crews at Tropicana in Western Australia. The role is FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie on a 2/1 roster covering both day and night shifts, driving CAT 793F haul trucks in a large open pit operation. No closing date is listed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CAT 793F rigid haul trucks safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Complete pre-start checks and report hazards or defects straight away
- Follow mine plans, supervisor instructions and traffic management rules
- Keep your work area tidy and interact safely with other crews and equipment
- Support your crew, share what you know and help build a strong team culture
About You
- Open pit production experience on CAT 793F dump trucks, or comparable trucks such as the 930E, 830E, MT4400 or MT6300
- A strong safety focus and the confidence to speak up
- A reliable work ethic and a team-first attitude
- Able to meet standard WA mine site medical and induction requirements
