Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors needs an experienced crusher fitter for its mobile and fixed plant crushing operations in the Pilbara. The position is fly-in fly-out on a 2/1 roster. Your main focus is preventative maintenance on the crushing plant and heavy duty mobile equipment, and finding and fixing faults when something breaks down.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance on crushing plant and heavy duty mobile equipment
- Diagnose breakdowns and find faults on equipment
- Operate mobile plant safely if you hold the tickets
- Use the crusher cab effectively and safely
- Help with general labouring when required
- Keep up daily housekeeping
About You
- Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting (Heavy)
- At least two years in a crushing environment, with previous experience on Metso, Finlay, Powerscreen or Cedarapids crushers and screens
- Current driver's licence
- National Police Clearance
- Working rights in Australia
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen, with ongoing screening while employed
- Desirable: mobile plant licences such as front end loader, skid steer or haul truck, a high risk work licence, EWP, rigging, dogging, crane, and a construction white card
