About the Role
Mineral Resources (MinRes) is looking for experienced crane operators to join the processing maintenance team at its Wodgina lithium processing plant in the Pilbara. These are full time, permanent positions on an 8/6 day shift roster, flying in and out of Perth. On site you will get hands on training and room to grow, either on the tools or into a leading role. No closing date is listed.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect the site cranes before start up each day and record what you find
- Work to hand signals, radio calls and written instructions from riggers and supervisors
- Check rigging before every lift and confirm the crane has the capacity to make it safely
- Assess load weights and keep every lift inside the crane's limits
- Lift and place steel structures, heavy mechanical equipment and camp accommodation buildings
- Report unsafe conditions and equipment faults straight away
About You
- High risk work licences for CO crane, dogging and basic rigging
- Current Australian driver's licence and a Construction Induction Card
- Working at heights, confined space and gas testing tickets are a plus
- Experience on cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, loaders and bobcats is desirable
- Able to pass a national criminal history check, pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- A safe, flexible team player who communicates clearly
