About the Role
Macmahon's underground division is hiring Cable Bolt Operators for its underground projects in the WA Goldfields and at Bendigo in Victoria. The roster is 14 days on, 14 days off, and the role is FIFO from anywhere in Australia. You will join an experienced underground crew and help deliver production targets safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Sandvik DS421 and DS422i cable bolting rigs safely and efficiently
- Completing pre-start checks and reporting hazards or defects straight away
- Following mine plans, instructions and traffic management rules
- Keeping the work area tidy and working safely alongside other crews
- Sharing knowledge and backing your crew every shift
About You
- Proven experience as an underground cable bolt operator on Sandvik DS421 or DS422i rigs
- QA and QC sampling experience
- I-Series and Jacon service truck experience are a bonus
- A current manual C class Australian driver's licence
- A strong safety focus and a reliable, team-first attitude
