About the Role
MACA is looking for Boilermakers to join its maintenance crew at the Dingo Range Gold Project in the North Laverton region of WA. The role is full-time on a 2/1 roster, flying in and out of Perth. You will keep a large heavy mobile mining fleet in service, including Komatsu 785 and HD1500 dump trucks, Komatsu PC1250 and Liebherr 9200 and 9300 excavators, CAT D9 and D10 dozers and Epiroc T45 drills.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and breakdown boilermaking maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
- Inspect buckets, trays and frames for cracks and wear and report what you find
- Complete structural repairs, tray relines and bucket and chassis crack repairs
- Change ground engaging tools when required
- Fill in job cards and maintenance reports accurately
- Keep welding equipment serviceable and the work area safe
About You
- Trade certificate in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaker)
- Experience with tray relines, bucket and chassis crack repairs on heavy mobile plant
- Skilled in flux core and gas wire welding
- HR licence preferred
- Comfortable working a 2/1 FIFO roster on a remote mine site
