About the Role

Gold Fields is hiring a permanent Bogger Operator for the underground crew at its Granny Smith gold mine near Laverton in Western Australia. The role flies in and out of Perth on a rotating roster of 8/6 on day shift and 7/7 on night shift. You will report to the Supervisor Underground Production and bog ore and waste from development headings, production stopes and stockpiles. Applications close on 28 November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CAT 2900 and CAT 1700 underground loaders safely and efficiently
  • Load, haul and dump ore and waste in line with the mine plan
  • Look after development headings, production stopes, stockpiles and tip areas
  • Complete pre-start checks and report hazards, ground conditions and equipment faults
  • Work with underground truck drivers and other operators to keep material moving
  • Turn up fit for work on every rostered day and support a strong safety culture

About You

  • Proven experience running underground boggers on both production and development crews
  • Teleremote experience with RCT is highly regarded
  • Hard rock underground experience, including watering, bogging, scaling and trucking development
  • Current manual C class driver's licence
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at Heights
  • A commitment to safety, respect and teamwork
