ISS Facility Services is hiring a full-time Airport Reporting Officer for the Carrapateena mine village and airport in South Australia. The role is FIFO on an 8/6 roster, flying in and out of Adelaide or Port Augusta, with 11.5 hour days. You will report to the Village Manager and keep the site airport running safely, from check-in and ramp work through to aerodrome grounds upkeep. The setting is remote and demanding, so fitness and resilience count.
Key Responsibilities
- Check in passengers and handle baggage, ramp duties and ground support equipment
- Prepare flight paperwork including manifests and load sheets
- Marshal aircraft and passengers and manage inbound and outbound freight
- Keep the terminal secure and its buildings, amenities and car parks clean
- Maintain aerodrome grounds: mowing, slashing, sweeping runways and aprons, weed control
- Follow HSE procedures and report hazards, incidents and equipment faults
About You
- ARO and AROC qualifications
- Dangerous Goods by Air
- SA C class licence
- Able to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster from Adelaide or Port Augusta
- Full Australian work rights, and able to obtain an ASIC and Federal Police clearance
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Aviation, National Jet Express, Qantas, QantasLink, Alliance or INX experience is an advantage
