Civeo is hiring an Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) for its Forrestania aerodrome in Western Australia on an 8:6 FIFO roster, flying from Perth and transferring to site. You work eight 12-hour days on site followed by six days at home. The role carries a strong safety focus: inspecting the aerodrome, reporting hazards, and keeping airside operations compliant, with baggage handling and ground support duties around flight schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily aerodrome and runway inspections to CASA and MOS 139 standards
- Report and document hazards, defects, NOTAMs and operational changes
- Take and record weather observations
- Keep airside safety procedures and regulatory standards in place
- Support emergency response procedures when needed
- Liaise with contractors, pilots and site stakeholders to keep flights moving
- Help with general aerodrome maintenance and upkeep
About You
- Current Aerodrome Reporting Officer skill set (AVISS00053)
- Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC)
- Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Valid manual driver's licence
- Previous FIFO or on-site ARO experience is highly regarded, as is a refuelling skill set
- Forklift ticket is desirable
- Organised, flexible, and willing to help other departments on site
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and meet the physical demands of remote work
