Gold Fields is hiring a Service Crew Operator for the mining department at its Agnew Gold Mine near Leinster in Western Australia. The role is fly in fly out from Perth on an 8 days on, 6 off day roster and a 7 nights on, 7 off night roster. You will report to the Underground Production Supervisor and keep development and production moving by setting up the services the underground crews rely on.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain underground air, water, ventilation, pump lines, power and tele-remote setups
- Carry out ground support and compressed air tasks as directed
- Operate elevated work platforms, integrated tool carriers, light vehicles and other hydraulic mobile plant
- Do scheduled inspections, servicing and basic troubleshooting, and arrange timely repairs to equipment
- Contain and clean up spills, with close attention to oil and hydraulic leaks, in line with environmental policies
About You
- Underground experience in a service crew or paste crew role
- Truck operating experience is an advantage
- Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights tickets
- A valid manual driver's licence
