About the Role
Gold Fields is looking for a Nipper at its Agnew underground gold mine near Leinster in Western Australia. This is a permanent FIFO role from Perth on a rotating roster of 8 days on and 6 off, then 7 nights on and 7 off. Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will support production and development crews, and the role is a recognised pathway into underground operator positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver equipment and materials to underground crews and remove waste
- Assist jumbo operators with ground support work such as bolting, meshing and heading setup
- Help with service crew tasks as needed
- Complete pre-start checks, report hazards and keep work areas tidy
- Arrive fit for work on every rostered shift
About You
- Previous underground experience as a nipper or truck driver
- Physically fit and comfortable in demanding conditions
- Strong safety focus and good communication
- Current manual driver licence
- Able to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance
